Michael Haverty is a Senior Agricultural Economist with The Andersons Centre UK, a leading provider of business information, interpretation and advice for the agricultural sector. Michael has played a leading role in the delivery of research projects and conference presentations on the implications of Brexit for the agricultural sector in both the UK and Ireland. These analyses have included detailed assessments of the livestock sector. One of his most recent assignments involved examining the implications of WTO trading on the Northern Irish beef and sheep meat sector which was published in September 2017. He has also given evidence to a House of Commons Select Committee inquiry concerning Brexit and Food Trade. In the past, he has managed the delivery of consulting projects encompassing agri-food and industrial technology across a variety of markets in Europe, the Americas and Asia.
