Chief Executive, Northern Ireland Grain Trade Association
Robin Irvine is Chief Executive of the Northern Ireland Grain Trade Association, a position he has held for four years. He has many years’ experience in the animal feed industry – mainly with the Fane Valley Cooperative Society where he served as Agricultural manager and more recently as Managing Director of Fane Valley feeds. Since joining the association, he has been active in promoting quality and assurance standards, including the Food Fortress scheme to manage the risk of contaminants in the food chain. Robin sits on a number of boards and committees in the Agri-Supply sector and is also well known as a judge and breeder of pedigree beef cattle, having served both as President and Chairman of the Hereford Cattle Society in the UK.
